Great place for lunch! The atmosphere is fantastic and staff service is good. Since it's in downtown, you have to be prepared to pay a little bit more tho since the burger and fries add up to 21 before tax and tips. The Katsu burger is very tasty, while the shoestring fries are good too. Generous portions to boot.

I love this place so much. I am from out of town and it was my first time visiting this place and I will 100% be back. The vibe is so cool I love the ambience. I did not have a reservation and the place was very busy so I thought for sure there’s no chance I was getting in. But I got a seat at the bar not a problem at all. The bar is super cool. It has a leather top. What? That is so cool. The cocktail list looks great. However, I stuck to my Guinness cause that’s my go to. I also ate some appetizers. The brussels sprouts were OK. Not the best thing in the world but definitely good. The prawn tacos. Were so amazing! The short ribs. Had just the right amount of spice. They were great. The washrooms were down the stairs in the basement. Which made me feel like I was in Europe. This is not a bad thing. The general decor and feel of the place is very old-school Europe, and I kind of dig it. I will definitely be back.

Go for the fish & chips. Nice piece of white fish properly fried with some fries and coleslaw which is not to saucy. Had a great pale-ale with it.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Brass Fish Tavern, and I can’t stop raving about it! We kicked things off with Dicky’s Dumps handmade dumplings, and let me tell you, they were a delicious start to our meal—perfectly crafted and bursting with flavor. For the main course, I enjoyed the grilled avocado and crispy tofu, which was nothing short of amazing. The combination of textures and flavors was just spot on! And then came dessert, we indulged in salted pretzel toffee pudding and Vietnamese coffee tiramisu. Both were heavenly, but that tiramisu had a special twist that I just adored! The staff were super friendly, making us feel right at home, and the ambiance of the restaurant was just lovely—perfect for a special gathering. If you’re looking for a great dining experience, I can’t recommend Brass Fish Tavern enough!
